How can I become a Chautauqua Sponsor?

Boy, are we glad you asked THAT!

As you can imagine, it takes many hands, hearts, and strong backs to make the Chautauqua Festival the success it has been over the years, but it would all go for naught without the generous contributions from our local sponsors. During this time each year plans are being made for programming, workshops, and events for the Chautauqua Festival. The Wythe Arts Council sponsors several fund raising events during the year, but ultimately we depend on the donations from people like you to bring all of the planning to reality.

As we are preparing for the 2012 festival, which will be held from June 16-23, your help is greatly needed. You can help by completing and returning a pledge form. All sponsorship donations are tax deductible. Please let us count on you for one of the following sponsorships:

  • Anyone can make a donation and become a Friend of Chautauqua and be acknowledged in the program.

  • Patrons ($90-$299) will receive their name in the program, and a ticket to the Patron’s Party.

  • STAR Sponsor ($300-$499) will receive a sponsor’s ribbon, their names in the program, and tickets to the Patron’s Party.

  • TONY Sponsor ($500-$999) will receive a sponsor’s ribbon, their names in the program, publicity on the radio and in the newspaper, and tickets to the Patron’s Party.

  • GRAMMY Sponsor ($1000-$1499) will receive a sponsor’s ribbon, their names in the program, publicity on the radio and in the newspaper, presentation on stage, and tickets to the Patron’s Party.

  • EMMY Sponsor ($1500-$2499) will receive a sponsor’s ribbon, their names in the program, publicity on the radio and in the newspaper, presentation on stage, tickets to the Patron’s Party, and reserved seating for the performance of their choice.

  • OSCAR Sponsor ($2500 & up) will receive a sponsor’s ribbon, their names in the program, publicity on the radio and in the newspaper, presentation on stage, tickets to the Patron’s Party, reserved seating for the performance of their choice, and their company banner on the stage during the entire eight day event.

On a designated date to be determined, in appreciation of your sponsorship and in addition to the above recognitions, Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy sponsors will be invited to send a representative of your business to distribute publicity of your company and sponsorship of the Festival.
